Expungements

If you were charged with a crime but never convicted, or if you successfully completed an alternative program that did not result in a conviction, you may be eligible for an expungement of your adult criminal record. Having your criminal arrest record expunged may open the door for career or education opportunities.

If you were a juvenile found delinquent of a crime but have not had any adult convictions, you may also be eligible for an expungement of your criminal record. Pardons

If you were convicted of crimes in your past, you may be eligible for a pardon. If your misdemeanor convictions are pardoned, you can petition the court for an expungement of those records. Although, you cannot petition the court for an expungement of your felony convictions, a pardon of those charges may help you regain certain rights such as possession of a firearm and the ability to vote. In some cases, if your convictions of a sexual nature are pardoned, you may be able to petition to have your name removed from the Sex Offender Registry. The attorneys at Mooney and Andrew, P.A. will assist you with the pardon application and represent you at the hearing before the Board of Pardons.
